This Acceptable Use Policy (“AUP”) sets out the rules for using Wafeed. It applies to all registered business users and anyone who interacts with the Service. Using Wafeed Feedback means you agree to this AUP.

This AUP should be read alongside the Terms of Service. In the event of conflict, the Terms of Service take precedence.

2. Permitted Use

Wafeed is designed for:

  • Collecting genuine customer feedback after legitimate business interactions.
  • Sharing feedback links or QR codes with your own customers in connection with a real service.
  • Viewing and analysing your feedback data in the dashboard.
  • Using branding, notification, and export features according to your plan.

3. Prohibited Uses

You must not use Wafeed to:

Spam and unsolicited communications

  • Send unsolicited messages to individuals who have not had a genuine interaction with your business.
  • Use feedback links as a mechanism for mass marketing or promotional outreach.
  • Send the same feedback link repeatedly to the same customer in a harassing manner.

Fraudulent or manipulative activity

  • Create fake, bot-generated, or fraudulent feedback submissions.
  • Manipulate or game review platforms, including Google Reviews, using the Service.
  • Impersonate any person, business, or organisation.
  • Abuse voucher codes or promotional offers, including creating multiple accounts to claim offers.

Data and privacy violations

  • Collect personal data from customers beyond what is necessary for legitimate feedback purposes.
  • Use the Service to gather sensitive personal data (e.g. health, financial, political, or religious information) without appropriate consent and legal basis.
  • Attempt to access, extract, or interfere with other users' accounts or data.

Technical abuse

  • Upload or transmit malicious code, viruses, malware, or harmful scripts.
  • Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Service.
  • Conduct denial-of-service attacks or otherwise interfere with Service availability.
  • Scrape, crawl, or otherwise extract data from the Service in an automated or unauthorised manner.
  • Use the Service in a way that places excessive or disproportionate load on our infrastructure.

Harmful or illegal content

  • Use the Service for any illegal, harmful, deceptive, or abusive activity.
  • Harass, threaten, discriminate against, or intimidate any individual.
  • Upload content that infringes on intellectual property rights.
  • Use the Service to facilitate or promote illegal activities.

4. Consequences of Violation

We take violations of this AUP seriously. Depending on the nature and severity of the violation, we may:

  • Issue a warning and request that you cease the prohibited activity.
  • Temporarily suspend your account pending investigation.
  • Permanently terminate your account without prior notice where the violation is serious or ongoing.
  • Remove or block specific content or feedback links.
  • Report the activity to relevant authorities where required by law.

Termination for AUP violations does not entitle you to a refund of any fees paid. See our Refund Policy.

5. Reporting Violations

If you become aware of a use of Wafeed that may violate this AUP, please report it via the contact page. We take all reports seriously and will investigate appropriately.

6. Changes to This Policy

We may update this AUP from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
